Description: The Seattle Office of Arts and Culture commissioned Kait Rhoads and Lisa Liedgren Alexandersson to create an instillation on the Seattle Public Utilities’ Wallingford E Shaft Site (Interlake Ave N and N 35th St) of the Ship Canal Water Quality Project. 3,000 2″ sequins; on each is a community sourced drawing or words responding to the phrase, ‘Release and Embrace’ in relation to life and the pandemic.
